German league news: Alphonso Davies, Bayern Munich’s young stalwart, seems to be a bit frustrated with his footballing life in Germany. He feels he doesn’t have many friends and his life seems lonely.
As we know, the 22-year-old is indeed Bayern Munich’s only Canadian player. He lives far from his parents and his girlfriend, and that’s what makes him feel very alone.
“Life as a professional footballer is amazing, there’s no doubt about it. You can relax and enjoy life, but after training there’s nothing to do. For me, because I don’t have family and my boyfriend doesn’t live with me, I’m alone,” Alphonso Davies said on his “thatboydavies19” Twitch channel.
“A little worried about not having anything to do and especially when all your friends have activities. I have maybe five friends. I am a famous loser! He continued.
After his comments went viral on social media Twitter, many of his fans gave Davies their support and encouragement.
“Hey, @AlphonsoDavies, I just wanted to let you know that you’ll be fine. If you need any help, I know there are people who love you and are ready to help you. For today , having good mental health is important. Don’t give up,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“You make me laugh every night because of your podcast on Twitch, you are a true unsung hero,” other fans said.
