The eight participants were divided into two groups. Group G is made up of Spain, Iran, Ivory Coast and Brazil. In group H, we find France, Latvia, Canada and Lebanon. Matches will start from August 25 to September 3, 2023.

The list of players that will appear later, Junas said, will still be waiting. “We from the LOC will meet with FIBA ​​representatives who will convey to them that the participants who show up later in Indonesia can send the best players they have.”

According to Junas, player names will be an important factor in ticket sales for matches.

“We hope that the Indonesia Arena, which has a capacity of 16,000, can be filled to the maximum. After finding out that the participating countries were Spain, Canada and France, which have star players. also boosted ticket sales,” Junas explained. “Now we are waiting for the list of players among the participants. If there is Victor Wembanyama from France, Jamal Murray from Canada will definitely increase ticket sales. Let’s just wait for the official list of players.”
