Parhur Dalimunthe said his party discovered a number of irregularities in his client’s arrest.

Among them is a discrepancy in the passport number shown in Interpol’s Red Notice Letter No. A-6452/80-2022, with the passport in SG’s pocket.

“In the red notice, the person to be arrested is a person with passport number G809633 with married status. In fact, our client is a foreigner (foreign citizen) with passport number: AA495494 not G809633 and our client is divorced,” he said. told reporters. , Sunday.

The next quirk, Pahrur continued, was the case that ensnared his client, which he said would happen in 2021 in Canada.

Meanwhile, SG has been living in Bali since 2020 with a limited residence card number: 2c22E10433 – W issued by the TPI Ngurah Rai immigration office.

Then his client’s arrest by Bali police was also based on a Model A Police Report (LPA). In fact, his client did not commit a crime in Indonesia.

“In our police, the PLA is when the police saw, witnessed a crime first hand, so what crime did the police see that was reported, there is not didn’t have,” he said.

“Then there is an investigator’s warrant, immediately fingerprinted, the process should have been from the LP, first an investigation then an investigation, it is the same day. Then he is called a suspect, the process for a person to become a suspect does not need to have an LP, investigation, investigation, summons, examination, forfeiture of evidence is not directly a suspect,” he continued.

He said that with these irregularities, the extradition action against SG was considered illegal if carried out.

According to information obtained, SG is scheduled to be extracted to Australia via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 10:00 p.m.

“Bringing SG to a country that is not SG’s country is a violation of the extradition process and a serious violation of criminal procedures in Indonesia and international human rights,” he said.

Therefore, Pahrur et al asked the Bali police to postpone the surrender of their client until the status was clear.

“If there is to be a transfer, then the Canadian side must go directly to Indonesia, and this must be in accordance with the applicable and binding extradition law in Indonesia,” he said.
