Canadian warships in Taiwan and China deploy stealth planes and missiles

Fuzhou (ANTARA) – A Canadian warship was caught passing through the waters of the Taiwan Strait during the national holiday period in early October. China therefore expressed its strong protest while strengthening its military forces by deploying the main assets of its defense system around the island.

This demonstrates a hostile attitude, undermines bilateral relations and deteriorates the military partnership between China and Canada, said the spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of National Defense (MND), Colonel Wu Qian, in a statement. protesting Canada's actions.

Regarding Canadian Minister of National Defense Harjit Sajjan's statement this month that NATO needed to monitor China's activities because some of its actions in the South China Sea were very worrying, Wu considered the accusation as baseless.

Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), Friday.

Several Chinese media outlets reported that the PLA had placed a J-20 stealth plane at a base about 500 kilometers from Taiwan.

Dongfeng-17 hypersonic missiles are also on alert along China's southeastern coast.

The deployment of defense equipment was a Chinese military signal to Taiwan.

Unfortunately, Wu provided no further answers regarding the deployment of the defense equipment, as this was considered part of his military secrecy.
