Faqih explained that Accessive.id is an application developed to help support the mobility of people with disabilities in carrying out their daily activities. This application provides information about the accessibility of a place for people with disabilities such as the physically disabled, the elderly, the sick and other audiences.

According to Faqih, the development of this app strayed from his personal experience and that of his deceased brother, who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). The disease causes sufferers to have a decrease in muscle function, so that they experience paralysis of the legs.

Faqih and the team developed Accessive.id with four main features, namely location search, detailed location accessibility, reviews and an open collaborative platform. With the location search feature, users can browse locations using maps or lists. Then, through the accessibility details feature, users can see information available somewhere such as ram facilities, audio descriptions and other facilities for all disabilities, seniors and other physical weaknesses .

Next, the review feature gives users a space to tell stories and share experiences about the places they’ve visited. Finally, the open collaborative platform functionality provides users with the ability to add various information about disability services belonging to a location.
