JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Actress Gisela Cindy had an unpleasant experience while living in Canada for almost eight years.
One of the experiences she felt was racism from the local community because Gisel Cindy was an immigrant.
“I also experienced racism because they know I’m Asian and I have a very strong accent,” he said, as quoted by Kompas.com on Gisela’s YouTube show Cindy, Wednesday (9/23/2020).
The artist’s younger sister Gracia Indri gave an example of her experience with racist actions.
“They made comments like don’t do what you say and just talk to another lady,” Gisela Cindy said.

Meanwhile, Gisela Cindy said racism is a common thing in Canada.
There was a point where he felt it almost every day.
Regarding racism, Gisela Cindy admitted to experiencing it almost every day in the exercise of her activities.
“I saw these people use their power to bring me down but they chose the wrong person, I can survive, so here I am,” Gisela Cindy said.
“So, be nice guys, be nice to others no matter where they’re from, okay?” » said Gisela, continued Cindy.
