“Everyone from FIBA and the players said we are the best yet,” FIBA board member Erick Thohir told the local organizing committee (LOC) of the FIBA World Cup 2023 after the final match at the Indonesia Arena between Spain vs Canada, Sunday (03/9/2023) evening.

FIBA General Director of Media and Marketing Frank Leenders in his message to LOC FIBA World Cup 2023 Vice President Agus Mauro acknowledged Indonesia’s success as ‘organizer.
“I really appreciated the extraordinary hospitality and the superb organization of this World Cup in Jakarta. You have set a number of new standards,” congratulated Leenders.
Previously, a number of players from several countries also expressed their admiration and gratitude for the hosting of the 2023 FIBA World Cup in Jakarta. LOC, they said, met all needs well. Canadian star Dillon Brook also said the same thing. Just like Gobert, he is happy to be able to experience the Basketball World Cup with good service and great enthusiasm from his fans.
