Former Indonesian national team player, Raphaël Maitimohelped the Canadian U-17 national team during U-17 World Cup 2023 from preparations in Bali.
Uploading a photo via a social media account, Friday (3/10), Maitimo was seen accompanying Canada’s U-17 national team while undergoing training at the Bali United training center in Purnama Beach, Gianyar, Thursday (2/11). .

Maitimo would be the coordinator of the Canadian U-17 national team during the 2023 U-17 World Cup. Not only during the preparations in Bali, Maitimo will also accompany the Canadian U-17 national team during the group stage and the round of 16 if she qualifies. .
The Canadian U-17 National Team will play group stage matches at Manahan Stadium in Solo. Canada is in Group B with Spain, Mali and Uzbekistan.
The Canadian national team will play its first match of the 2023 U-17 World Cup against Spain on Friday (10/11). The Spain vs Canada kick-off will take place from 19:00 WIB.
Maitimo himself is a former Indonesian national team player from 2012 to 2015. The Indonesian-Dutch has collected 21 caps and scored four goals with the Indonesian national team.
A number of major Indonesian clubs have been strengthened by Maitimo, starting with Persija Jakarta, Arema, up to Persib Bandung. Maitimo last played for Barito Putera in 2022 before hanging up his boots.
The 2023 U-17 World Cup will take place in four Indonesian cities from November 10 to December 2. The four stadiums that will host are JIS Stadium (Jakarta), Manahan Stadium (Solo), Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (Surabaya) and Si Jalak Harupat Stadium (Bandung).
