Ginting leads Indonesia to 2-0 win over Canada

Suzhou: Anthony Sinisuka Ginting gave Indonesia a 2-0 lead after beating Canadian men's singles Brian Yang. Ginting won 21-17 and 21-16 against Yang.

Ginting admitted he hadn't done many things differently. He focused on implementing an offensive strategy and it turned out to be the right one as it caused Yang to make a lot of his own mistakes.

“Previously, I was more focused on how to implement a good strategy. Apart from that, I also had to quickly adapt to the fast speed of the steering wheel,” Ginting said.
“But that's normal, because it's not only me who has to adapt, but also the opponent. I just have to concentrate on putting my game strategy in order,” he explained .

“With a shuttlecock like that, I have to play like and how. Thank God I can finally play as expected,” he explained.

Ginting was also happy to be able to bring points to Indonesia. He hopes that his colleagues can continue to show brilliant performances and sweep the match against Canada.

“I am happy to be able to bring a winning point to Indonesia. A point in a team match is very important,” he explained.

“I hope that the other players can also find the same positive energy to face the next match,” he explained.

“I hope the other players can also play well and continue with new victories,” he concluded.
