Fan-favorite action fighter “Mini T” Danial Williams will soon return to take on the top strawweight kickboxer.
October 7 at ONE Fight Night 15: Tawanchai vs. Top Thai-Australian fighter Superbon will challenge undefeated phenomenal fighter Jonathan Di Bella for the ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Championship title in Bangkok, Thailand.
When he entered the ring at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium during prime time in the United States, Williams knew he would be facing a striker of superior ability.
Now, in the final preparations for the World Championships, ‘Mini T’ spoke to onefc.com/id about Di Bella’s most dangerous attribute:
“I think it’s the technique [adalah kekuatan terbesarnya]. His technique was extraordinary. He has hook Very good front, and he has a quick kick. He’s a fighter with volume, so the pressure is there. He will continue to attack.
Clearly, the titleholder showed incredible stamina during her thrilling World Championship victory over Zhang Peimian last October at ONE 162.
Williams noted the performance, recognizing that Di Bella was born and raised to compete in various championship-level competitions.
He said:
“I just think because he grew up with his dad being a champion, training from the age of 2, that’s what he knows. I just thought his technique was pretty perfect, and yes, he was definitely invincible.
“So I just felt like that was all he knew, and he was supposed to do it.”
Despite the overwhelming tribute to the Italian-Canadian star, the praise for “Mini T” stopped there.
He believes Di Bella lacks experience at the highest level and pointed out that the man almost lost the judges’ decision to Zhang before scoring. fell via a hard kick to the head with just over a minute left in the final round.
With this in mind, Williams plans to offer the World Champion an incredible welcome into the world’s top ranks. striking.
The former WMC Muay Thai World Champion said:
“I feel like [Di Bella] pushed to fight for the title right away, so I don’t feel like he’s ever fought experienced guys here.
“Zhang Peimian is probably the most experienced guy, I think, and yeah, it was a close fight. Very fine. Headbutt. If you don’t get this nod, I think they might give it to ZPM.
“I just feel like he’s never fought anyone like me before.”
Williams says fans can expect ‘full action’ against Di Bella
After achieving an incredible six feats at ONE Championship across three different combat sports disciplines, Danial Williams has every reason to be confident in his experience advantage over Jonathan Di Bella – although the Italian-Canadian has impressed during his singles action at ONE.
However, “Mini T” has spent the last two years battling fighters pound for pound elite, including ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon and flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9.
Williams believes her lack of experience – coupled with her knockout power – will lead her to victory and the world title on October 7:
“From what I saw of his opponents, they weren’t big names, just like someone who had that background in martial arts in general. I think my mind will become stronger and I will have more strength – that’s the most important thing.
To press with his superior strength, the Perth man knows he will have to charge into the fire, ready to take the blow to counter – and that is something he is never afraid of.
As one of the most aggressive and entertaining fighters in the organization, it’s no secret that Williams will be able to lead the action from the start to force Di Bella into an attack savage.
He outlined what fans can expect at ONE Fight Night 15:
“Expect absolutely tough action. I’m just going to move on. I will be able to defeat all his attacks. I’m going to give him the best attack I have.
“It’s my time, so you’ll just see all the action.” Someone who doesn’t want to go around [ring], will not escape. I’m just trying to get the best shot possible, and you know, I’m hurting him. Yeah, just all the action.
