Israel claims to have succeeded in retaking the Gaza border from Hamas

Gaza: Israel claims to have retaken the Gaza border area from Hamas. The fighting has left thousands dead on both sides since the surprise attack last Saturday.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that the Israeli military campaign after Saturday’s attack was only the start of an ongoing war aimed at destroying Hamas and “changing the Middle East.”

Israel’s death toll has surpassed 900, marking the worst attack in the country’s 75-year history, while Gaza officials have reported 900 people killed so far, and the Israeli military has said that around 1,500 bodies of Hamad fighters had been found.

International NGOs have issued a harsh warning about the health and humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

The Western leaders’ condemnation stands in stark contrast to the pro-Palestinian sentiment in the Arab world where people are handing out sweets, dancing and singing prayers in support of “resistance” to Israel’s long-standing occupation of the Palestinian territories.

“All my life I have watched Israel kill us, confiscate our land and arrest our children,” said Farah al-Saadi, 52, a coffee seller from Ramallah in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, who welcomed the Israeli attacks. Hamas.

The Israeli army has deployed 300,000 reservists and massed tanks and other heavy armored vehicles near Gaza and on the northern border with Lebanon, where shooting continues.

The army said most of its forces had reconquered the conflict-torn southern region and the border around Gaza, and expelled Hamas fighters from more than a dozen towns and kibbutzim.

But on Tuesday evening in the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon, troops supported by helicopters and drones exchanged fire with several militants, killing three, the army said.

A new barrage of rockets was also fired from Gaza towards Ashkelon.

“About 1,500 bodies of Hamas fighters have been found in Israel around the Gaza Strip,” military spokesman Richard Hecht said earlier.

At Kibbutz Kfar Aza, where Israeli forces say Hamas massacred more than 100 civilians, Israeli soldiers prepared to move some of their comrades in black body bags.

Western countries and many other countries have reported the death, kidnapping or disappearance of their citizens. These countries include: Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Ireland, Mexico, Nepal, Panama, Paraguay, Russia, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Hamas has reportedly held around 150 prisoners since its ground offensive, including children, elderly people and teenagers captured during a music festival that killed around 270 people.
