Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that the Israeli military campaign after Saturday’s attack was only the start of an ongoing war aimed at destroying Hamas and “changing the Middle East.”

“About 1,500 bodies of Hamas fighters have been found in Israel around the Gaza Strip,” military spokesman Richard Hecht said earlier.
At Kibbutz Kfar Aza, where Israeli forces say Hamas massacred more than 100 civilians, Israeli soldiers prepared to move some of their comrades in black body bags.
