It’s official, here is the list of the 24 participants of the U-17 World Cup in Indonesia

Bisnis.com, SOLO – Here is a list of 24 participating team which will appear in U-17 World Cup 2023 in Indonesia. Europe sends the most representatives.

The completion of the Asian U-17 Cup quarter-finals on Monday (26/06/2023) has made all participants of the U-17 World Cup 2023 complete.

Japan and Uzbekistan secured the last two tickets for the U-17 World Cup in Indonesia.

Japan beat Australia 3-1 to advance to the semi-finals of the U-17 Asian Cup, as well as to participate in the U-17 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan proved convincing by beating Saudi Arabia 2-0 in the quarter-finals.

Japan and Uzbekistan followed Iran and South Korea who had already qualified on Sunday (25/06/2023).

Apart from Asia, the participants of the U-17 World Cup 2023 also came from other confederations. UEFA (Europe) sent five representatives, namely England, France, Germany, Poland and Spain.

Two giants of Conmebol (South America), Brazil and Argentina, have also qualified for the U-17 World Cup along with Ecuador and Venezuela.

From CONCACAF (North and Central America) represented by Canada, Mexico, Panama and the United States.

Then CAF (Africa) sent four countries namely Burkina Faso, Mali, Morocco and Senegal.

Finally, two other teams came from the OFC confederation (Oceania), namely New Caledonia and New Zealand.

The World Football Federation (FIFA) has named Indonesia as hosts of the 2023 U-17 World Cup replacing Peru on Friday (23/06/2023).

Later, the 24 countries will battle it out for the U-17 World Cup trophy in Indonesia which will be held from November 10 to December 2, 2023.
