The Indonesian foreign minister said there would be a meeting 13th East Asia Summit (EAS) Foreign Ministers Meeting and 30th ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF).
“On Friday there will be EAS and ARF,” he told reporters at the Media Center, Wisma 46 BNI.
Based on the official schedule released by ASEAN, the second day of the PMC 2023 meeting will be attended by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to start today’s meeting.
In addition, the 13th East Asia Summit Foreign Ministers’ Meeting was held as well as a trilateral meeting between Indonesia, Norway and the ASEAN Secretariat.
Meanwhile, there will also be the ASEAN PMC with the United States (US), the Minister of Foreign Affairs Antoine Bliken confirmed his presence at the meeting.
In addition, an ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) will also be held, which will be attended by all ASEAN member countries, including Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines, as well as ASEAN partner countries. , namely America, United States (US), Canada, China, India, Japan, South Korea, Russia, New Zealand and European Union.
Finally, there will be a press conference by Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi regarding the whole series of events of the 2023 ASEAN Ministerial Meeting/Post-Ministerial Conference (AMM/PMC).
As known, the Post Ministerial Conference (PMC) 2023 with the United States will bring together 10 ASEAN countries and the United States, which will be held at Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta on Friday (14/7/2023) .
