Geographically, Canada is located on the American continent, next to the United States. However, Jordi Fernandez does not want to adopt the same style of play as in Uncle Sam’s country. He said his team had unique abilities and that made it difficult for Canada to stop them. “We have a different style of play, because of our physical abilities and our qualities. We are not a European team, nor an American team, we have our own identity,” said coach Jordi when interviewed by local media.

We make good shots, I think we are ranked 1st or 2nd in offensive efficiency in this tournament (FIBA World Cup 2023).
