“Thank God we were able to play well and bring Indonesia to victory and a net score of 5-0. In general, the match went well. After Indonesia won 4-0, we We weren’t too tense,” Lanny said.

Rebekah/Lanny admitted they weren't too tense as they weren't overloaded thanks to Indonesia's 4-0 lead over Canada. Additionally, Li is a singles athlete, so his game is not as good as a doubles athlete.

“I just tried to do my best. At first I was a little nervous when I entered the court. However, after that I was calmer and more confident. I was able to play well and ultimately win,” Lanny said.

“Also, the opponent we faced was originally a singles player, so the quality of the game was not as good as the doubles player,” Lanny added.

Lanny/Ribka want to reward the trust of the technical staff who appointed them. Additionally, the support of their teammates makes them even more enthusiastic.

“The feeling of being able to reappear and be trusted to participate in the Sudirman Cup is certainly encouraging. Lanny's wish is that I can always do my best and bring points to Indonesia,” Ribka said.

“The support from outside friends and motivation makes us confident in our ability to perform well and bring points to Indonesia,” concluded Rebekah.
