Bisnis.com, SOLO – Mayor of Solo Gibran Rakabuming Raka said he would watch the game U-17 World Cup 2023 in Manahan StadiumSolo.
Gibran Rakabuming Raka confirmed that he will attend the first day of the U-17 World Cup at Manahan Stadium Solo, Central Java, Friday (11/10/2023).
The son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said that he will attend the big Canada vs Spain match which will take place in the first match of Group B at 19:00 WIB.
“Evening watch,” said Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Thursday (09/11/2023).
Gibran also said that the Solo City Government (Pemkot) was not organizing group visit events as is usually done in the Solo City Hall courtyard.
This is to make the 2023 U-17 World Cup a success which will be held for the first time in Indonesia.
“We can’t watch together, we have to buy tickets. This can also be seen on television,” Gibran said.
Gibran also asked the residents of Solo City to participate in hosting the U-17 World Cup matches.
He also invited Persis Solo students and supporters to watch the World Cup match.
“Of course, in Pasoepati there is also a quota [penonton],” he said.
Solo’s Manahan Stadium is the home base for U-17 World Cup Group B teams Canada, Mali, Spain and Uzbekistan.
Bengawan City will also host the round of 16 clash at the U-17 World Cup final.
