Elyanna will be the first Arab artist to perform on the Coachella stage.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna will perform for the first time at Coachella, a popular music festival held annually in Indio, California. The event lasts 10 days from April 14 to 23.
Elyanna, famous for her songs “Ghareeb Alay”, “Balinese Style” and “Anna Lahale” Together with the Lebanese singer from Canada, Massari, will be the first Arab artists to perform on the Coachella stage.
“I am honored and grateful for all the love and support I have received over the past few days,” he wrote at 575k followers in Instagram.
He said he was very proud and excited to showcase his culture and music on the Coachella stage.
“Last year I came Coachella as an audience, and this year I will be the first Arab singer artist to perform there. Your wildest dreams are about to come true, so keep dreaming! See you in the desert,” Elianna said, as quoted by Arabic News, Sunday (15/1/2023).
Elyanna’s celebrity friends, including Massari, Dutch-Palestinian model Bella Hadid, Iraqi American beauty maestro Huda Kattan, Egyptian rapper Felukah, Palestinian singer Noel Kharman and Syrian swimmer Yusra Mardini, unanimously praised the star at through a comment session in his Instagram post.
