Jakarta – Canadian rock unit, Sum 41 will certainly travel to Indonesia for their farewell concert before disbanding. They will say goodbye to Indonesian fans (Skumfuks) at Uptown Park, Summarecon Mall Serpong on March 1, 2024.
Under the auspices of promoter Ravel Entertainment, Sum 41's solo concert in Indonesia will be their last show before disbanding for good.
“This concert will be a concert full of sweet memories for the Skumfuks in Indonesia,” said Ravel Entertainment Creative Director Talenta Regina Kaban as quoted by Option on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
“Because this is part of Sum 41's farewell world tour and it will also be the last time for Deryck Whibley and his friends to greet their fans in Indonesia before they disband,” he said.
In May 2023, SUM 41 announced that they had decided to disband after 27 years of work in the world music scene. Through the same announcement, they also confirmed that they will be performing a farewell tour and releasing their latest album titled Heaven :X: Hell.

Sum 41's concert in Indonesia was part of the farewell tour of Deryck Whibley (vocalist), Dave “Brownsound” Baksh (guitarist), Jason “Cone” McCaslin (bassist), Tom Thacker (guitarist) and Frank Zummo (drummer ) entitled “Visit to the Somme de Mise”
Regina said Sum 41's concert in Indonesia would open with a performance by California hardcore punk band Ignite, who previously performed with Soundrenaline in 2022.
“Apart from that, there will also be IGNITE, a hardcore punk band from California who will be the opening band for SUM 41's performance,” he said.
Ticket sales for the Sum 41 concert in Indonesia will open on January 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. WIB sharp on the official website www.sum41jkt.com.
