“This police service program aims to collaborate to increase the capacity of Polri services and share experiences and knowledge,” said Inspector General Agung.

“The meeting was so warm that Mr. Wayne even invited the tourist police of the North Sumatra Regional Police to Canada for a comparative study on improving performance,” explained the North Sumatra Regional Police Chief. Sumatra.

Previously, to promote comfort in public spaces, especially in the Lake Toba region which was designated a Super Priority Tourist Destination (DPSP), the North Sumatra Regional Police had formed a Satpamobvit.

Sat Pamobvit consists of 150 people who supervise 7 police stations supporting the Lake Toba region.

Meanwhile, to strengthen supervision, the North Sumatra Regional Police assigned a Tourism Sub-Directorate headed by an officer with the rank of Police Commissioner (Kompol) whose office is in Ajibata, Parapat, Toba Regency.

The inauguration of the Pamobvit unit aims to encourage the tourism police to be present in the region. So that tourism in North Sumatra can go well in collaboration with the DPSD (Super Priority Tourism Destination Authority) agency of Lake Toba. (01/ed)
