2. World Day for Safety and Health at Work

Initiated by the International Labor Organization (ILO), this commemoration has existed since 2003. The objective is to raise awareness about the creation of a safe and healthy working environment. From government, from employers to workers.

With the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, it is hoped that the prevention of accidents and diseases at work can be stricter, so that the number of fatalities or injuries at work can also be reduced.

3. Workers’ Memorial Day

Always linked to workers and work, April 28 each year is also a day to remember workers who have died or been disabled while working around the world, or who have also suffered from work-related illnesses.

5. National Superhero Day

Batman, Superman, Captain America, Wonder Woman, Iron Man, Hulk and Spiderman are some of the superheroes whose names are very popular. These fictional characters are idolized by children and adults due to their actions against criminals. This celebration was also created by Marvel in 1995, to celebrate everyone’s favorite heroes.

However, some people don’t realize that these superheroes also sometimes exist in the real world, even around us. Sure, these real-world superheroes don’t have superpowers, but they’ve been credited with helping and protecting us. It can be our neighbors or people with certain professions such as teachers, firefighters, police, security guards and many others.
