The look of an angry Canadian citizen brandishing a knife in the streets of Bali

A Canadian citizen by the name of Mohamed Reda Della caused trouble at a restaurant in Badung, Bali. Reda, who was drunk, angrily brandished a knife because he had lost his payment card.

Reported detikBali, Monday (6/12/2023), the incident occurred on Friday (9/6) evening. Badung Police Chief AKBP Teguh Priyo Wasono said Reda was angry because he thought someone had taken his ATM card.

“Because the ATM was lost in an amusement place, the person concerned was angry. He saw a lot of people, scared, as if he thought someone had taken it, so he went to angry,” Teguh said.

According to Teguh, Reda did not commit the disruptive action because he had issues with other people. He said Reda felt threatened and pulled out a knife in front of several people.

“He got the evidence from the villa where he lived. He took it, put it under the seat of the motorbike just in case, to protect himself,” Teguh said.

Reda admitted that the knife he wielded when he was drunk was just a toy knife. After the incident, he throws it away.

Even so, Reda was suspected of endangering public order. Teguh said Reda was handed over to Immigration to be deported in the near future.
