U-17 World Cup 2023 will open today, Friday (11/10/2023). A total of 4 matches from Groups A and B will take place on the first day of the 2023 U-17 World Cup.
All matches in the group stage of the U-17 World Cup will take place at 2 different times, namely in the afternoon at 16:00 WIB and in the evening at 19:00 WIB.
Today there will be a duel between Panama U-17 against Morocco U-17 at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (GBT), Surabaya, and Mali U-17 against Uzbekistan U-17 at Manahan Stadium, Solo , which will take place at 4:00 p.m. WIB. .
Panama and Morocco will be the opening duel of Group A, while Mali and Uzbekistan will be the 2 teams of Group B.
After the match, there will be a short opening ceremony lasting 8-10 minutes at GBT Stadium.
After the opening, 2 more matches were held, namely Indonesia U-17 national team against Ecuador U-17 at GBT Stadium and Spain U-17 against Canada at Manahan Stadium.
For the Indonesian U-17 national team, this will mark its debut in the U-17 World Cup. Previously, Garuda Muda had never participated in this tournament.
