A number of competing teams from Group B U-17 World Cup 2023 arrived in Solo City. Some teams have requested that training take place behind closed doors.

Group B itself is made up of Mali, Uzbekistan, Spain and Canada. According to the plan, a number of teams will start training today.

Solo City youth and sports officer Rini Kusumandari said team training would take place behind closed doors.

According to reports, both teams are expected to have their first training session in Solo City today. The Uzbekistan U-17 national team will train at West City Field and the Mali U-17 national team will train at Sriwaru Field. Meanwhile, the Spanish U-17 national team and the Canadian U-17 team are not yet scheduled to practice today.

The 2023 U-17 World Cup will officially begin on November 10, 2023. The football tournament for players under the age of 17 will open with several matches.

In Group A, Panama will meet Morocco at 16:00 WIB. Next, hosts Indonesia will face Ecuador at 7:00 p.m., with all matches taking place at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya.

Meanwhile, in Group B, Mali will challenge Uzbekistan at 16:00 WIB. That evening, Spain will face Canada. These two matches took place at Manahan Stadium, Solo.
