VIVA World – A rumor quickly spread across the Internet claiming that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) had killed a man after finding a giant on a mountain in Canada.

Last spring, a man posted a TikTok video titled “giant” on top of a mountain in Canada.

The images are indeed not clear and the silhouette is impossible to see at the distance at which it was taken. However, the video quickly went viral and was viewed 2 million times in just a few days.

“He’s a person,” TikToker Andrew Dawson (@andykapt) said in a video captioned “he’s a giant.”

Launched from Daily update, Friday, January 13, 2023, the so-called giant is a dark silhouette on a snow-capped peak in the distance. In later messages, he claimed to have been arrested by CIA agents and that someone was following him.

He also said the giant was missing and wondered if it was a UFO. “Is the thing on the mountain coming home,” he wrote.

A few weeks later, Dawson posted a TikTok video and admitted it was all fake.

“Sorry to disappoint you, but all the videos I post are scripted, they are just fake, for entertainment purposes only,” he said.

However, a few days later, he posted another TikTok confirming that his previous video about giants and the CIA was real.

The on-screen caption read “I'm scared.” In it, Dawson said: “You may never see me published again. My videos are not fake. »

He posted again and then disappeared.

On July 1, Dawson was pronounced dead at the age of 34.

Questions about the cause of his death and claims that the CIA was involved in Dawson's death circulated on the Internet for months.

In October, a podcast dedicated to legends like the Loch Ness Monster and Sasquatch talked about Dawson's death.

They wrote that a week before his death, Dawson confirmed via an Instagram direct message that his videos about giants and the CIA were all fake.

Recently, conspiracy theories about Dawson's “giant” video and the CIA's involvement in his death have gained traction on social media.

Many TikTok videos include the hashtag and reiterate the conspiracy theory that Dawson was murdered for filming giants.
