Japan national team was powerful against Spain in the last game of group E World Cup 2022. Here are the results, standings and top scores from the 2022 World Cup.

The third game of groups E and F will take place on Thursday (1/12) and Friday (2/12) in the morning WIB.

Japan beat Spain 2-1 at Khalifa Stadium, while Germany beat Costa Rica 4-2 at Al Bayt Stadium.

Distanced by the goal of Alvaro Morata (11th), Japan responded in the second half with two goals in a row. Ritsu Doan and Ao Tanaka scored against Spain in the 48th and 51′ minutes.

Those two goals were enough to lead Samurai Blue through to the 2022 World Cup Round of 16. Japan made a special appearance at the 2022 World Cup by picking up two wins to advance to Group E after defeated Japan 2-1 in the first match. .

In another match, Germany won 4-2 against Costa Rica. However, victory was not enough for Die Mannschaft to reach the knockout stages. Germany lost on goal difference to Spain.

Meanwhile, in Group F, Croatia and Morocco are the teams that qualify for the Round of 16. Morocco qualified for the round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup after winning 2-1 against Canada.

Morocco was accompanied by Croatia who beat Belgium 0-0. An extra point was enough to put Croatia ahead of Belgium.

A goal scored by Morata against Japan put him on the 2022 World Cup top scorers list with a collection of three goals. Morata’s goals could increase after Spain qualify for the Round of 16.

Morata’s fate was different from that of Kai Havertz. Although he scored two goals against Costa Rica, Havertz couldn’t add any more goals as Germany had already been knocked out of the 2020 World Cup.
