Yobi Utama Putra, firefighter and illustrator from Malang town, hired by a Canadian company to serve a Swedish group

Just minutes after scratching the stylus on the iPad screen, Yobi Utama Putra's fingers suddenly stopped.

To be precise, after hearing the sound of fire sirens around 11:38 p.m. at the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) office of the Malang City Fire Department (Damkar), last Monday (5/2 ).

Yobi then grabbed a Nomex III A firefighter jacket.

This is an orange shirt that staff usually wear in the event of a fire.

He followed his colleagues in the “Semut Ireng” rescue truck.

That evening, the UPT Damkar Office in Malang Town received a report of a fire at Shopee Food Driver Center Ruko, Jalan Letjen S. Parman, Purwantoro Village, Blimbing District.

In fact, Yobi has to create several design examples to upload to Instagram.

However, Yobi's duty to ensure that the people of Malang town are safe from the Red Rooster Fire cannot be ignored as people's lives are at stake.

This isn't the first time Yobi has delayed product development.

Since joining the Blangwir Corps in 2017, Yobi has had to divide his time between firefighting and working in the design world.

Additionally, with each dry season, the intensity of fires increases.

For example, from August to September 2023, the dry season will last longer.

In one day, fires managed by UPT Damkar can reach seven incidents.

At the same time, the number of design orders is now increasing.
