Bisnis.comSOLO – The Carnival Tropy Experience of the U-17 World Cup held in Solo on Sunday (05/11/2022) was lively.
A number of officials also entertained the carnival which took place along the road from Sriwedari Stadium towards Mangkunegaran Temple.
The carnival starts at 06:30 WIB at Sriwedari Stadium. The front group was filled with troops carrying the heritage flag (Paskibraka) and Mangkunegaran soldiers.
Behind them was a group of officials consisting of Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka and PSSI President Erick Thohir.
Arriving at Mangkunegaran Temple, Acting Central Java Governor Nana Sudjana and KGPAA Mangkunegara X welcomed the carnival group.
Gibran then said that the people of Solo were ready to make the U-17 World Cup a success.
“I represent the people of Solo who are ready to make the 2023 U-17 World Cup a success, which will include not only the preliminary round, but also the semi-finals and the final which will take place at the Manahan Stadium. let’s not waste the trust given by Mr. Erick as president of the PSSI and the central government “To Solo, which will become the attention of the world football stage,” said Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Sunday (05/11/2023) .
Meanwhile, Solo is the closing city of the 2023 U-17 World Cup Trophy Experience tour series. It is similar to the previous three cities, namely Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya.
This carnival was organized as a socializing event for the U-17 World Cup, where Solo will be one of the hosts of the Group B qualifiers which brings together Spain, Canada, Uzbekistan and Mali.
