Charles Leclerc says Ferrari still hasn’t found a solution for the SF-23

F1 News: Scuderia Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc thinks the SF-23 car is still slow and not yet competitive. The Prancing Horse crew has also been unable to find the root of the problem so far.

Of the seven series that took place during the 2023 F1 season, the performances of Charles Leclerc and Ferrari still cannot be called competitive. Leclerc only made the podium once and even then he could only finish third (Azerbaijan GP). In the last series of the Spanish GP, Leclerc could only finish 11th. With a number of issues facing Leclerc, he himself is pessimistic about his ability to make it to the Canadian GP. The reason is that Ferrari didn’t seem to bring an upgrade to race there.

“No, no, we have not (find the root of the problem). Overall the team is not happy with the current performance and is far from expectations at the start of the season. nothing new, so I don’t think we’ll do miracles. We’ll just try to maximize existing packages,” Leclerc said in an interview with local media.

“We have learned a lot and hope to be in a better position this weekend. But we will not make a big leap,” he said once again.

Ferrari is still in transition from management from Mattia Binotto to Fred Vasseur. They have to get up quickly if they don’t want to disappoint Leclerc too much for a long time. Because otherwise, Leclerc could consider the option of leaving.
