Lee Hwi Jae finished with Cube Entertainment between January and February.
After peaceful discussions, both parties decided not to renew their contracts.
Notably, it was revealed that Lee Hwi Jae is living in Canada with his family without looking for a new agency or moving.

Lee Hwi Jae visited Canada for the first time with his family last summer.
Initially, he traveled to Canada for national broadcasting activities as well as to go on vacation.
After that, Lee Hwi Jae and his family often traveled back and forth to Canada. Last year, he and his family celebrated New Years there.

In this regard, a Cube Entertainment official told OSEN:
Lee Hwi Jae traveled to Canada with his family in August, a plan he had been planning for a long time.
He takes the time to organize his schedule and since he started 30 years ago, he has never taken a break.
