BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – As the new academic year 2023/2024 approaches, ITB is organizing a New Student Welcome (PMB) series for potential new students. One of the activities is the introductory session on academic information systems (SIX) and academic regulations which was held online on Tuesday (01/08/2023).
This session is aimed at potential new students in the Independent Selection (SM), Affirmation and International Class undergraduate program, as well as postgraduate and professional programs. The session intended for future new undergraduate students in the SNBP and SNBT course will be held in July 2023.
The Directorate of Education of the ITB was present as a resource person, represented by Dr. Ir. Dianika Lestari, ST, MT, as head of the sub-directorate of monitoring and evaluation of the Education, and Dr. Paramashanti, ST, MT, as Head of the Education Administration Sub-Directorate. This agenda was guided by the ITB 2023 Campus Ambassador for Entrepreneurship, Wildan Firmansyah (Entrepreneurship, 2024).
The material begins with an explanation of academic regulations which include regulations for students, academic calendar, curriculum, PMB, re-registration, academic services, achievements and others. The presentation continued with an introduction to the ITB Academic Information System (SIX).
SIX is an ITB academic website with links https://akademik.itb.ac.id/. It contains class schedules, academic documents and announcements which are all integrated online. The SIX integration has also been adapted to ITB academic regulations, making courses easier.
