Netflix ISP Speed Index for March 2023

An ISP in Vietnam saw the largest speed increase over other ISPs for the month of March Netflix ISP Speed Indexour monthly update which contains information about the ISPs (Internet Service Providers) offering the best Netflix streaming experience.

Vietnam was the only country to register an increase in overall speeds this month, with average speeds increasing by 0.2 Mbps to 3.0 Mbps. FPT Telecom increased by 0.6 Mbps and VNPT Fiber increased by 0.2 Mbps to 3.2 and 2.6 Mbps respectively. Optix in Pakistan increased by 0.2 Mbps compared to February resultsdropping to 2.8 Mbps.

In March, South Africa’s ISP, MTN, fell from 0.4 Mbps to 2.6 Mbps. An ISP in Denmark, Dansk Kabel, also changed its name to DKTV this month.

A total of 16 countries/regions exceeded the performance level in March with an average speed of 3.6 Mbps: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand and the United States.

The Netflix ISP Speed Index is a measure of Netflix’s prime time performance at a given ISP, not a measure of the overall performance of other services/data that may pass through a given ISP’s network .
