7 planes from Japan, Canada, India and Australia will land in Indonesia

Seven national planes from Japan, Canada, India and Australia landed at Kertajati Majalengka Airport.

The arrival of the state aircraft for this activity via West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati, preparations for its use are currently being discussed by the Majalengka Police.

On this occasion, PT BIJB Executive General Director Nuril Huda said that so far only Canada has confirmed that its national aircraft will land and park overnight at Kertajati Airport.

The Japanese state plane will likely land in Jakarta. Meanwhile, India and Australia are still in the confirmation phase.

He said Japan was likely to land in Jakarta like last year. India and Australia are trying to confirm again.



Nuril Huda said this confirmation was necessary to ensure the preparedness of the international airport, including security aspects.

At the same time, from a technical point of view, airports must also be ready to receive remaining RONs at night from state aircraft arriving from friendly countries.

Meanwhile, Majalengka police held another meeting to discuss securing the arrival of the state plane in question.

Majalengka Police Chief AKBP Indra Novianto directly led the security preparation meeting for the ASEAN Summit to be held in the West Java Regional Police Zone, including at the Java International Airport West Kertajati.

The meeting that will take place involves top officials of the Majalengka Police and the Majalengka Police Chief, which will be held at the Sindangkasih Hall of the Majalengka Police, Tuesday, September 5, 2023.



The ASEAN Summit is an important event attended by leaders of participating ASEAN countries and leaders of other ASEAN partner countries.
