Ahmad Dhani had revealed concert plans god 19 in Canada next year. However, the Dewa 19 frontman later admitted that he let the plan slip because he was too excited about it.

“I have good news, next year we will have a concert in Canada,” Ahmad Dhani said in Jakarta, as reported by detikcom on Tuesday (8/15).

This was also supported by former Dream Theater staff member Derek Sherinian, who collaborated with Dewa 19.

“Yes, there is an extraordinary grand plan,” he said.

Nevertheless, Ahmad Dhani admitted that he accidentally leaked the plan. This came after Whitesnake staff Dino Jelusic said concert plans in Canada should not be disclosed in advance.

“Hey, we shouldn’t talk about it now,” Dino Jelusic said.

“Oh yeah, let’s just say later Ahmad Dhani slipped,” Dhani said.

The musicians have previously collaborated on Love is Blind. For this song, Dewa 19 teamed up with Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal (Sons of Apollo, ex-Guns N’ Roses) on guitar, Simon Phillips (ex-Toto) on drums and Derek Sherinian (ex-Dream Theater ) keyboard .

In addition, there are also Dino Jelusic (Whitesnake) and Jeff Scott Soto (Sons Of Apollo) on vocals and Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big, Talas) on bassist.

Also, Dewa 19 recently performed at Bung Karno Main Stadium with all these musicians.

During the concert, Dewa 19 appeared with three singers namely Ari Lasso, Virzha and Ello. Apart from that, Dewa 19 was also backed by a number of international musicians such as keyboardist Derek Sherinian and guitarist Richie Kotzen.

A number of national musicians such as Lyodra, Sandhy Sondoro and drummer Tyo Nugros were also invited to host the event. Tickets for this show are sold out.

After playing at SUGBK, Dewa 19 ft. The All Stars Stadium Tour will continue next week at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung on Saturday (19/8).
