Oracle Red Bull Racing Max Verstappen will take pole position in the race Formula 1 (F1) Canadian Grand Prix (GP) 2022 after being the fastest in the qualifying session.

Qualifying for the 2022 Formula 1 Canadian GP will take place at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Montreal on Sunday (19/6) early morning WIB.

At the start of the third Qualifying (Q3) F1 Canadian GP 2022, Oracle Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen was able to take the lead position with a time of 1 minute 22.701 seconds.

Behind Verstappen is Scuderia Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz with a gap of 0.231 seconds.

Then the third position is occupied by the driver of the BWT Alpine F1 Team Fernando Alonso with a gap of 0.396 seconds.

Meanwhile, Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team driver Lewis Hamilton is sixth with a gap of 1.066 seconds.

Verstappen was still able to maintain his position at the front with two minutes remaining in Q3. Even Verstappen was able to improve his record time to 1 minute 21,620 seconds.

At the end of Q3, Hamilton was also able to sprint to take second position with a difference of 1.271 seconds over Verstappen.

Even Verstappen was able to increase his record time again to 1 minute 21.299 seconds and secure pole position for the 2022 Canadian F1 GP.

While Carlos Sainz had shifted Hamilton in the last seconds.

But in the dying seconds Alonso was able to take second, followed by Sainz on grid three, and Hamilton would start from fourth.
