Canadian researchers develop an invisibility shield similar to Harry Potter's cloak

TALK ABOUT THE NEWS – Canadian researchers have developed a new technology invisible to the naked eye.

Thus, the human fantasy of becoming an invisible or transparent object like the characters in fantasy genre films like Harry Potter seems to soon be able to come true.

The technology is called Quantum Stealth.

Quantum Stealth is a transparent material produced by Canadian camouflage design company Hyperstealth.

As IFL Science reports, the material that can be made into this shield can operate without using electrical energy.

Aside from that, it doesn't take a fantastic amount of money to create this Quantum Stealth that features paper-thin material.

Even so, this invisible technology is definitely not as perfect as a disappearing cloak or an invisibility cloak like Harry Potter's.

Quantum Stealth material is known for being made from familiar objects such as lenticular lenses that are also often found in 3D images.

The operation is the same as for 3D images.

This material refracts light so that only objects that are too far or too close can be seen.

This means that objects or people that are within a certain distance behind the Quantum Stealth shield will become invisible or appear transparent.

A simple example of refraction of light in a medium can be observed by placing a spoon in a glass of water.
