In a financial disclosure report released Thursday, the top Republican Party official disclosed that he owns about 600 brands in 87 countries, territories and international agencies around the world, including allies and enemies of the United States.
The country with the most trademarks is not the country he has ruled for the past four years, namely the United States, but rather the country he has constantly attacked, namely China .
Trump and his companies own 119 brands in mainland China, plus 21 more in Hong Kong and Macau. While in the United States, it only has about 56 brands. Of course, the comparison is huge.
After the two largest countries in the world, Donald Trump also revealed that he owns the most brands in the United Kingdom (33), the United Arab Emirates (31), Canada (19), Turkey (18), in the European Union (17), in Panama. (16), Dominican Republic (13) and Indonesia (12).
Trump’s intellectual property portfolio covers nearly every area in which the United States has significant geopolitical interests. It has 10 brands in South Korea, whose belligerent northern neighbor has reportedly just launched an intercontinental ballistic missile into the Sea of Japan.
He owns six brands in Russia, a country currently waging a bloody war against Ukraine – of which Trump owns three more. It has trademarks in rivals like Cuba, Iran and Venezuela.
