Gatotkaca brought to America and Canada

Jakarta: After being screened in Indonesia, the film Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca is gearing up for theatrical release in the United States and Canada. It was Well Go USA that brought Hanung Bramantyo’s film to America.

Well Go USA has taken the distribution rights to the film Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca in the United States and Canada. This right covers cinemas, up to video on demand. Well Go USA previously held many distribution rights for world famous films, such as franchises IP Man with Donny Yen, The detective story with Jacky Chan, to anime and manga movies like Gintama by director Yuichi Fukuda.




“We are very excited to partner with Satria Dewa Studio to bring the film Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca to North American audiences,” Well Go USA Executive Vice President Tony Vandeveerdonk said in a written statement.

Well Go USA did not say when the film, starring Rizky Nazar, will be shown in US theaters. He promised to provide the information soon.

“Getting appreciation from foreign countries is extraordinary. Hopefully through this movie, Indonesian superheroes can become international,” said Satria Dewa Studio’s Vice President of Operations, Mochtar Sarman.

Film Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca is currently playing in cinemas across Indonesia.
