BANGKOK – World Badminton Tournament Thailand Masters 2023 officially held in Bangkok, Thailand on Tuesday (31/1/2023). The world’s best badminton athletes will bring excitement to the early qualifying and preliminary rounds.

A total of eight Indonesian representative compete today. Two of them managed to prevail and qualify for the next round, namely Amri Syahnawi/Winny Oktavina Kandow who beat the mixed doubles representative of Thailand, Phatharathorn Nipornram/Alisa Sapniti by the score of 21 -18, 21-15.

Indonesian men’s singles Christian Adinata also secured the main round after beating Denmark representative Magnus Johannesen 21-11, 21-18.

Next, Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Bagas Maulana, Indonesia’s 3rd seed in men’s doubles, will face the hosts’ representatives, Pharanyu Kaosamaang/Worrapol Thongsa-Nga.

Indonesia’s sixth seed in men’s doubles, Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Rambitan will face Malaysia’s Goh V Shem/Lim Khim Wah.

Next, Muhammad Rayhan Nur Fadillah/Rahmat Hidayat will face Dong Adam/Yakura in men’s doubles from Canada. There is also Panjer A Dadiara/Bryan Sidney Elohim against the Thai representative of the men’s doubles, Tanadon Punpanich/Wachirawit Sothon.

In addition, in the women’s doubles, there is Meilysa Trias Puspita Sari/Rachel Allessya Rose who will also face the representatives of the hosts, Thailand, Pichamon P/Nannapas Sukklad and the women’s doubles, Lanny Tria Mayasari/Ribka Sugiarto will face the representatives of Hong Kong who are the -8 seeds, Ng Tsz Yau/Tsang Hiu Yan.
