RI joins ranks of 20 countries with the world’s richest people

Indonesia is on the list of the 20 countries in the world with the most billionaire contributors. It is contained in the data the richest man world as compiled by Forbes.

Forbes report, Sunday (04/09/2023), on the list of the richest people, there are approximately 2,640 people in the world. These wealthy come from 77 countries around the world, including Indonesia.

Panama and Armenia are the two new countries to add their billionaires to the Forbes list. From Panama, there is Stanley Motta, who is an investor with a large portfolio in Panama Banco General. Meanwhile in Aemenia, there is Ruben Vardanyan who is a banker who made his fortune in Russia in the 1990s, Ruben just renounced his Russian citizenship two years ago.

As always, the United States is once again home to billionaires. There are approximately 735 wealthy Americans who are included in the Forbes list. More than 60 Americans have joined the billionaire rankings for the first time this year, including LeBron James and Tiger Woods.

China then followed the United States as the country with the second highest number of billionaires. There are approximately 495 Chinese billionaires on the Forbes list.

Meanwhile, Indonesia has contributed around 29 people to the Forbes list of the richest people, this number is one less compared to 2022. This puts Indonesia in 20th position on the list of countries with the richest people. wealthiest compiled by Forbes.
