ARN24.NEWS – The competition for the Pertamina F1 Powerboat Lake Toba Grand Prix 2024 (F1H2O) race in Balige, Toba Regency, North Sumatra on March 2-3 has ended. Sharjah team rider Rusty Wyatt became champion.

Rusty Wyatt, a Canadian rider, dramatically beat Team Victory's Erik Stark who finished in second place and Team Binh Dih Vietnam rider Jonas Andersson in third place.

The Lake Toba F1 Powerboat 2024 final match also belongs to Rusty Wyatt. Indonesian Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo presented the trophy to Rusty Wyatt, followed by North Sumatra Acting Governor Hassanudin to Erik Stark.

Rusty Wyaty's victory surprised many parties. Because at the start of the race Andersson was leading by a long way in front of his rivals. In fact, this happened from the second lap until nearing the finish.

Meanwhile, Andersson's teammate Stefan Arand failed to make the podium during the second year's race series on Lake Toba as he only finished fourth.

Likewise, 2023 champion Bartek Marzalek of Stromoy Racing Team did not show his maximum performance in the first Grand Prix series this year and was only in fifth position.

Meanwhile, Peter Morin of Team China CTC was in sixth place, followed by Thani Al Qamzi of Team Abu Dhabi in seventh place.

Sami Selio of the Red Devil-SMC F1 Team is in eighth position, followed by Marit Stromoy of the Stromoy Racing Team in seventh and Ben Jelf of the Atlantic F1 Team in tenth.

Three riders who failed to finish the race in F1H2O Lake Toba 2024, namely Alexandre Beurgeot of Maverick Racing Team, Filip Roms of Sharjah Team and Ferdinand Zandbergen of Red Devis-SMC F1 Team.
