The good news comes from SM Entertainment which has finally reopened the global auditions or '2023 SM Global Audition'.

SM Entertainment's global auditions will not only be held in Korea, but will also travel to other countries to scout for talent for future Kpop idols.

“2023 SM Global Audition” will be the first audition event to take place again since the pandemic.

After pandemic-related policies slowly begin to ease, SM will begin its audition tour on January 28 in Seoul.

Still in South Korea, the audition tour will stop in Busan, Daegu, Gwangju and Daejeon then continue to six cities in Japan.

The agency said schedules for cities in Japan and other regions would be announced later.

But in the poster posted online, SM mentioned nine other countries to visit, including Thailand, USA, Canada, UAE, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Vietnam and China.

The online pre-registration period has been open since January 11, 2023, and you can register via SM Entertainment's official website.

The requirements to participate in the 2023 SM Entertainment Global Audition are to have talent in singing, dancing, rapping or acting, with birth age criteria being between 2004 and 2012.

SM Entertainment has launched global auditions since 2006 in Asia and America.
