Horrified! 2 people killed by bears in Canada’s national parks

At least two people died there bear attack in the Banff National Park region of Alberta in Canada. The bear was eventually killed by local authorities because it showed very aggressive behavior.

Reports indicate the bear attack took place in the Red Deer River Valley area, west of the Ya Ha Tinda Ranch.

However, weather conditions at that time did not permit the deployment of helicopters, so the emergency response team had to travel by land overnight to the incident location .

The emergency response team arrived at the scene early on Saturday (30/9) and found that two people had died. The identities of the two deceased victims have not been released to the public.

The team, Parks Canada said in a statement, then euthanized the bear after it showed aggressive behavior.

In a separate statement, Bear Safety and More founder Kim Tichener said the two deceased victims were a Canadian couple. Tichener was a relative of both deceased victims.

It was also reported that a dog that was the couple’s pet also died in the attack.
